Name of the Project: “Omega speckle organization and role of hsromega IncRNAs in modulation of Ras signaling in Drosophila, and Stock Repository”

About Project: Research work would involve advanced genetic, molecular genetic, and molecular cell biological approaches for understanding the organization of omega speckles and interactions of the hsromega lncRNA with Ras signaling pathway (for lab’s current areas of research and publications, see https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Subhash_Lakhotia).

Age: The upper age limit (45 years) for RA can be relaxed for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates as per GOI rules.

Essential Qualifications for BHU Job: Applicants should hold a PhD degree and
should have research publications in molecular biology and/or molecular genetics/ developmental biology, preferably using the Drosophila model. Those who have submitted their doctoral thesis and are awaiting results may also apply.
